Welcome to this brand new journey!
Welcome to my brand new blog! To not have it completely empty now in the beginning, I have imported some of my older articles from my Substack publication. That’s why it’s so few entries with so much time between them before this entry.
So everything before this blog post is imported from Substack, and this post is the one I start off with.
But now, let’s give you a proper introduction to this blog and its goals.
I think I have something to contribute when it comes to us late bloomers. I want to reassure people that it’s never too late. This blog is all about personal growth for people who find their happiness or contentment later in life, who find their purpose just a little bit later than their peers. Some of us didn’t get the opportunity to thrive earlier than now, and that’s okay. My goal with this blog is to bring a new perspective to people who take more time, that it can be beneficial to think longer about what you want. Or if you happened to be a survivor of trauma, and just like me, that is your reason for blooming later in life, that wasn’t your fault, and it’s not “too late” to start over again, like ever!
This blog is for both people who thrive later in life, but also for the people who want to learn more and understand us! I write a lot about education and lifelong learning, but also about self-care, therapy, trauma, coaching tools, and everything high and low in the realm of personal growth. I think the reason I’m so fascinated with learning is that I never got the opportunity to learn as a child in school because of trauma and disability. So now I’m hyper-focused on that as an adult instead. My timeline became a bit skewed.
I ultimately want to bring some perspective. Not everything need to happen fast. I’m still om my bachelor’s degree (although I have the goal to finish it by the spring 2026). And this fall I’m actually doing a dubble degree, starting with a new bachelor’s degree, so I will only finish one of them next year, the other will take a little longer.
Anyhow. I hope you got an outlook on what this blog is about by now.
See you soon!
